During winter, their colours look dark but soft, simultaneously the distant landscape is disguised in a white blanket. One of the bunkers that served as part of a protective ring during WW 2 is still present. This bunker route can be visited and brings you alongside unexpected views along the soft hills of Flanders.</p>

The amount of snow falling during winter in our country is not sufficient to cover the trees entirely, making them looking like dark elements, while the meadow surrounding them is covered in a snow blanket. The result is an interesting contrastful scene, occurring only once in several years.</p>
