PRIVACY POLICY / DATA PROTECTION NOTICE

INTRODUCTION

With this Data Protection Notice, Golden River Studios, shortly “GRS”, with registered office at Leie Linkeroever 84, 9870 Zulte, and registered enterprise number BE 0782 203 050, wants  to inform you about the collection and handling of private data with this Data Protection Notice.

By communicating your private data you declare to have taken notice of this Data Protection Notice and you simultaneously agree with it, as you do agree explicitly with the handling of your personal data.

 

FIELD OF APPLICATION

This data Protection Notice refers to all services provided by us and in general, to all activities we perform.

 

HANDLING RESPONSIBLE AND HIS DUTIES

GRS is responsible for the handling of your personal data. This means GRS respects :

• the Belgian regulation concerning the protection of personal data ;
• the General Protection of Data Regulation (GPDR).

You communicate to us the following personal data :

• Name
• Gender
• Address
• E-mail address
• Telephone number(s)

You are however, responsible for the accuracy of these data. Should these data lack accuracy, we request you to update them and communicate this update to us.

 

HANDLING PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS

Customer and prospect data

The purpose of keeping records of your personal data is to enable the following :

• The execution of agreements with you, customer or prospect;
• Management of customer and prospect data;
• Accountancy;
• Direct marketing activities (sending promotional or commercial information);

The legal basis for these activities is the execution of this agreement, fulfilling the legal and regulated duties and / or our justified interest.

 

For direct marketing activities per e-mail (like a newsletter or invitations for exhibitions or courses) your permission will always be asked and you can retrieve this permission at any given time.

Duration of handling

Your personal data will be recorded by us and handled for a period regarded necessary as a function of the purposes of this handling and as a function of the relation we have with you (be this a relation by contract or free)

 

Rights

In conjunction with and under the conditions of the Belgian privacy legislation and the provisions of the GPDR, we inform you about the following rights :

• Right of access and insight : You have the right to access, for free, all data we recorded about you and where they are being used for;
• Right of rectification : You have the right for rectifying (improving) your (eventual wrong) personal data, and for the completion of eventual incomplete data.
• Right of erasing or restricting data : You have the right to ask us for erasing data or to restrict their use, as stipulated under the circumstances and conditions of the GPDR;
• Right of contest : You have the right to contest the handling and use of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons;
• Right of withdrawal of permission: If the use and recording of your personal data is based on a prior permission, you have the right to withdraw this permission. The persona data will only then be used by us when we have other legal basis.

Transfer to third parties :

When such is required, your personal data recorded by us can be transferred to and used by third parties, as there are : IT-suppliers, Accountants, company revisors, the authorities or judicial authorities. Employees, managers and/or representatives of the above mentioned service providers or authorities and the specialized collaborators pointed by them are to respect the private character of your personal data and can only use these data within the frame of their jurisdiction and application.

 

We will not, in any case, sell or make your personal data commercially available for marketing bureaus or similar service providers, unless with your explicite authorisation.
