I cannot get enough of the sunlight, directly hitting the sides of cows in a meadow. It creates such a trusted feeling of recognizability, that I have the impression I belong to this scene ! Warmer and colder greens, shaded and sunlit cow furr, trees and fences, and a stretched, distant land, all of this contribute to a complete Flemish landscape. This Painting served as the poster image for a very successful exhibition I held in Munte, Eastern Flanders.
