There is now rush to find subject matter abroad. It only opens your mind for new ideas. But inspiration can be found near you. This was a summer-filled impression of the Mandel river nearby my place. I was particularly interested in the S-curvature of the river and its effect on the geometry of the landscape. Painting made on canvas, treated with absorbing media for watercolour application.
