Once, I visited a farmer who breeds all kinds of animals, but in a very natural way. Not 1000 cows, 10.000 pigs, etc. But a couple of Alpaca’s, 10 geese, some chickens,…. Al these animals were walking through each other and I liked this organic way of farming life. So I made some sketches at the spot. This is a take of two geese walking in the bright sunlight, with an open shed in the background. It’s the animals plus the nice colours of the wooden shed, partly hit by the sun and partly hidden in teh shades, that motivated me to create this little painting.
