Regular courses

Courses that run on a regular basis, e.g. every two weeks at a fixed location within a specific club. There are three clubs in Flanders where Guy teaches: the Poperinge Watercolour Club (Poperinge), the Zwevegem Watercolour Society (Zwevegem) and Crea Ten Hove (Sint-Amandsberg, Ghent). There is space for 20 students on each course, who are given a general topic to work on in a classroom setting over a period of several weeks. As a result, there are a limited number of themes per year and the nature of the lessons is ‘introductory’.

How to paint movement in watercolour

You will learn how to capture movement in a watercolor, emphasizing action and enhancing the image’s dynamism. You will also learn how to create this dynamism using the wet-on-wet technique, which is characteristic of watercolor painting.
