Portraits and people are rarely seen in Guy’s watercolour paintings. But when they appear, they are a truly convincing and recognizable image of the people met. Guy pays a tremendous lot of attention to the details, and wants to make them look as they really are. It is also important when a commission is given that related people recognize immediately their relatives.
